Marilyn Harris is a self-taught artist with a BFA degree in Fine Arts from Western Carolina University in NC. Deaf since she was a toddler she found comfort in drawing and painting. While growing up in Georgia, she attended art classes outside of school but it wasn't until after her child was grown before she could really dedicate herself to painting. She started out with watercolors exclusively and is currently doing oils. She enjoys painting landscapes, flowers, and still life. She has done some portraits.
